Jan Thompson
Years in the field: 13
License/Certifications: LMT, NCTMB, Sports Massage, BBA at University of Michigan
Position: Massage therapist
Jan has been a loyal employee of Dr. Kollias’ since February of 1999! She has been an incredible Triathlete since 1986, who loves helping others improve their body through her therapeutic massage techniques. She has several wonderful accomplishments:
• Florida State Massage Therapy Association Member
• FSMTA Sports Massage Team Member
• 5 time Ironman finisher
• 2 time ITU Triathlon World Champion
When Jan’s not at the office, she can be found training in the pool or biking all around town!
Debbie Cram
Years in the field: 6
License/Certifications: RCA
Position: Chiropractic assistant
Debbie has been in the chiropractic field for 6 years, 3 of which have been with Dr. Kollias. She takes on countless tasks but most importantly the responsibility of patient relations and the appointment coordinator position. She also inputs all data into our system as well as handles scheduling MRI’s and completing insurance authorizations.
Debbie is always seen with a smile and an eagerness to help those in need!
Laura Davis
Years in the field: 4

Position: Chiropractic assistant, Spinal Decompression technician
Laura became interested in the chiropractic field when she found herself in extreme pain resulting from a herniated disc due to a car accident. After receiving spinal decompression therapy and feeling great again, she was trained to operate Axiom’s DRX9000 and DRX9000C with Dr. David Huffman in South Tampa. At this office she was responsible for all patient care, patient education, insurance billing, marketing and any other miscellaneous tasks. At Sheldon Road Chiropractic her main focus is patient care, more specifically, spinal decompression. She is also responsible for marketing with online web content and spinal decompression material.
Having been through the decompression therapy herself, she’s been helping others with their own journey for the last 4 years and absolutely loves the field!
Glo Brooks
Years in the field: 3
License/Certifications: LMT, NCBTMB, AMTA
Position: Massage Therapist
Glo relocated from Ohio to Largo, Florida in 2003 to care for her grandmother. She found her calling with the realization of the effects of touch in calming Alzheimer’s side effects. After her grandmother’s passing, she furthered her gifts at Remington College, graduating the top of her class with a 4.0. She joined Dr. Kollias in April of 2007.
Glo is known for her painless deep tissue work and muscular energy techniques!
Luz Maria Martinez
Years in the field: 4
License/Certifications: RCA, MA, Notary Public
Position: Insurance Specialist, Chiropractic assistant
Luz graduated in 2003 as an administrative medical assistant and began working with Dr. Jacob Anaya in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. In this office she had the responsibilities of receptionist, insurance billing and also learned to interact with a patient in pain. In 2006 Luz and her family relocated to Tampa, Florida. It was during this time she was given the opportunity to be a part of Sheldon Road Chiropractic team! With this office, she started as a chiropractic assistant and is now in primarily responsible for insurance billing and collections.
Luz feels blessed to be here and states, “I might look like a Chihuahua, but in reality when it’s billing time, I am a bull dog!”
Sonja Bounds
Years in the field: 3
License/Certifications: LMT, NCBTMB, RCA
Position: Massage therapist, Chiropractic assistant
Prior to working with Dr. Kollias, Sonja has experience working with other chiropractors and medical doctors responsible for billing, marketing, verification of benefits and therapy. Sonja has been with Sheldon Road Chiropractic for one year assisting Dr. Kollias with manual therapies, spinal decompression and massage therapy. She received her massage training from Edu-tech in Clearwater, Florida. Her massage therapy techniques include: myofacial release, neuromuscular re-education, deep tissue, Swedish and muscle energy techniques.
Her petite frame can be deceiving but she demonstrates great strength with her massages!
